I’m continuing my “thankfulness” posts on Easter 2016 because the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is central to the existence of my faith, redemption and salvation. I’m grateful for the life which Jesus lived on this earth in order to make it possible for all humanity to be able to experience peace and atonement with God, the Father.
In order to commemorate His sacrifce, I celebrated it by taking communion, and singing praises to God. Two passages of Scripture I make it a point to read, and ponder, as it relates to the Resurrection are Exodus 20:1-17, and 1 Corinthians 11:17 – 34.
I’m also thankful that each day God allows me to live is another day during which I can celebrate Jesus’ birth, life, death and resurrection 🙂
